      On our first day, we took a tour of the Deer and Lang caves. You have to book these Mulu caves tours at the visitor center as it’s only possible to visit the caves with a guide. The Mulu caves tour is planned in such a way that it will end at the observation post in the park at the exact moment that the bats will start flying out at dusk. Mulu Caves are a world heritage site and is one of the most visited attractions in Miri. The Caves are picturesque and looks like something that came out of a movie scene. The destination is a must visit for travellers looking forsome adventure. There are many resorts which are a short hop away from the caves and are a great place to relax/unwind.

      Mulu may be the most studied tropical karst area in the world, but the caves are certainly not giving up all their secrets.
